We use the word “local” a lot when talking about our family-owned grocery stores. But what is Local? “Local” means helping the neighborhood elementary school raise money for a new playground. “Local” means driving to Henry County to bring back fresh-picked produce. “Local” means supporting little league teams, churches, scout troops and community festivals. “Local” means being Kentucky Proud and “local” means representing you and your neighborhood with a smile and a friendly wave. That is what “local” means to us.

We have 4 ValuMarket locations to serve your grocery needs. We are located in the Mid City Mall, Outer Loop Plaza, Iroquois Manor and Mt. Washington. All of our stores also serve as official United States post offices and can handle bill-payment for many of your services including phone and electric.

And if you’re like us, life is busy. We understand. That’s why we created Louisville’s ORIGINAL online shopping service. You can order your groceries online from any internet connection or mobile device and we will take care of the rest. Our Personal Shoppers are specifically trained to shop your order with the care and attention they put into shopping for themselves. We do all the work, from putting the items in the basket to standing in line at the checkout. You just show up at the store when your order is ready and we’ll load them into your car for you. We can even deliver them to your door, freeing up even MORE of your time for the more important things in life… kids’ ball games, family visits, work and any other daily event that requires your attention.
